BRASILIA, Brazil – A  Brazilian Senate Committee  has voted to  commence  criminal trial of President Jair  Bolsonaro over his shoddy handling of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The pandemic has killed over 606, 246 patients in Brazil alone, making Brazil the second highest casualty after the United States.

The 1200 page report alleged that the President was to blame for the rapid spread of Coronavirus pandemic in Brazil.

Among the indictment against the President is crime against humanity,  charlatanism and inciting crime so as  to misuse public funds.

So far, the President has denied  any wrong doing.  But Chairman of the Senate Panel,  Omar Aziz has promised to deliver the recommendation to put the president on trial  to the Prosecutor General this morning.

The Prosecutor General has 30 days to accept the  9 offences indicting President Jair Bolsonaro and fill charges against him.

However, opinions are divided if the president will be prosecuted by his political appointee.
