Nigeria’s external reserve has hit $47.99 billion as at July 18, 2013 from $43.83 billion as at the end of December 2012, representing a rise of US $4.16 billion or 9.49 percent year to year date the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said. The apex bank made the revelation in communiqué number 90, issued at the end of the Monetary Policy Committee meeting which held from Monday to Tuesday, 23rd, 2013 in Abuja, signed by the Governor of the bank, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
