LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 110 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 168, 110. Out of the 168, 110 cases, 164, 408 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 122 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 1580 active cases of Coronavirus.
“NCDC: 110 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos – 88, Rivers – 12, Akwa Ibom – 4, Jigawa – 2, Ogun – 2, FCT – 1, Kano- 1: 168, 110 confirmed; 164, 408 discharged; 2, 122 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

There are now 184, 866, 259 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 3,997, 095 patients have kicked the bucket, while 3, 321,049, 762 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted, reporting 33,764, 672 confirmed cases, while 606, 179 patients have been killed by the virus(22, 895 new cases and 349 deaths*), followed by India which has reported 30, 663, 665 all time cases and 404, 211 deaths(43, 733 new cases and 930 deaths*) and Brazil with 18, 855, 015 confirmations, while 526,892 lives have perished(62, 504 new cases and 1780 deaths*).
France remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 5, 856, 680 all time cases and 111, 448 deaths (4084 new cases and 121 deaths*), followed by Russia with 5, 614, 540 all time cases, while 137, 718 patients have lost their lives to the pandemic(23, 510 new cases and 713 deaths*) and Turkey which has registered 5, 454, 763 confirmed cases, while 49, 996 patients are no more(5299 new cases and 37 deaths*).
The United Kingdom is the 7th country most afflicted by the pandemic, now reporting 5,007, 964 confirmed cases and 128, 565 deaths(32, 344 new cases and 33 deaths*), followed by Argentina which has registered 4, 574, 340 all time infections, while 96, 983 patients have passed on(21, 590 new cases and 462 deaths*) and Colombia which has reported 4, 402, 582 total cases, while 110, 019 lives have been wasted by the virus (26, 721 new cases and 553 deaths*).
Italy has come up as the 10th country with 4, 265, 714 confirmations, while 127, 718 patients are no more(1010 new cases and 14 deaths*) and South Africa with 2, 112, 336 all time cases, while 63, 039 patients are no more alive as a result of the pandemic.(21, 427 new cases and 411 deaths*)
