This young lady who has made her marks in a male dominated industry is fulfilled not because she has a father who is a billionaire that can take her to the moon if she so desire but for having the privilege to demonstrate her talent at the new Afrika Shrine, located in Alausa CBD, Ikeja, Lagos.
Afrika Shrine, an iconic shrine is one of the most popular musical hangout in Africa and the whole world and has played host to world leaders, among which is French President, Emmanue Macron, that is the new Afrika Shrine after the demise of the Afrobeat King, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
But prior to his death, the old Afrika Shrine at Yaba and Ikeja were also noted for playing host to great world leaders. For this daughter of Nigeria’s billionaire, it is a dream come true, and as she puts it, “I can now retire”, she said in her moment of ecstacy.
She also took pictures with the eldest son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Femi. DJ Cuppy clad herself like one of the dancers of the late Afrobeat King in Fela and the Egypt 80 Band.
