Sales at the Box Office were slightly down during the week but good enough for film distributors to smile to the banks. In the 5th position is God’s Not Dead put together by Freestyle Studio. That film garnered $9.075 million from 1,178 cinemas where it was exhibited in the US to remain number 5 at the US box office.

Just a little bit ahead at number 4 is the film, Peabody & Sherman put together by Fox Pictures. The movie made $9.5 million after passing through 3,299 viewing centres in the US to clinch the 4th position on the chart.

Muppets Most Wanted which was number 2 last week slipped to number 3 this week when sales at the box office dropped to $11.373 million from 3,194 theatres in the US where it was exhibited to be occupy the 3rd position on the chart. Muppets Most Wanted is a production of Buena Vista.

Divergent which was number 1 at the Box office last week was pushed to number 2 when sales dropped from $56 million to $26.5 million dollars in the 3,936 theatres where it made was exhibited in the US. Divergent is a production of Lions Gate.

But the most patronized movie at the box office during the week was Noah, put together by Paramount Pictures. Noah which is new at the box office grossed a total sum of $44 million after passing through 3,567 film viewing centres in the US to emerge as the hottest film at the weekend.

Noah is a big budget film, put together with $125 million but has been able to reward paramount picture with $44 million in just one week at the box office.
