WASHINGTON, United States – Leaders in world economics are currently in Washington for the IMF-World Bank Spring Meeting putting heads together for solution to economic problem afflicting advanced and developing economies across the world.




Nigeria is represented by Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun,Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance, Dr. Mahmoud Isa-Dutse, Emir of Kano, HRH Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and the Managing Director of Infrastructure Development for Africa, Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim, Managing Director of International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, Chair of the Development Committee, Sri Mulyani Indrawati and the Chairman of the International Monetary and Financial Committee, Lesetja Kganyago.

Others are Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt. Hon. Philip Hammond and Minister of Finance, Malta, Edward Scicluna.
