ONDO, Nigeria – Billionaire businessman who lost out in the race to represent Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the November 26, 2016 governorship election in Ondo State, Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim has called on all his supporters to vote for candidate of the All Progressive Congress(APC), Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

In a press statement he personally signed, the PDP stalwart said he has come to the conclusion that only Akeredolu of the APC posses the right mentality, competence and readiness and moral amplitude to lead Ondo people.

“I am therefore directing all our PDP party leaders, ward evangelists and unit canvassers, supporters as well as all non politician society leaders, who are working with us, including Kabyesi’s, civil servants, workers union, religious leaders to work hard for and mobilize votes for our brother and friend, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN of APC.

“You are to invest all your energies and capabilities to legitimately ensure that our brother, Akeredolu emerges victorious in your units and wards and by extension the entire state”, he said.

He added that it is a well known fact that Akeredolu will never tell a lie to you nor appropriate state powers and privileges to himself for selfish pleasures.

“I have already said that the task to develop Ondo State begins with the type of leaders we hire for the job. It is time to act right”, he said.
