GAZA, Palestine – The Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has confirmed the death of two soldiers in the hands of resistant forces in the Gaza Strip.
According to IDF statement, the two soldiers are First Sergeant Naveh Leshem and Captain (Res.) Tal Movshovitz.
According to the statement, Leshem was 20 years old, and a combat soldier in the Golani Brigade.
Captain (Res.) Tal Movshovitz was 28 years old and deputy company commander in the Golani Brigade.
“We share in the grief of the families in their time of sorrow. We mourn their loss and will continue to support them.
” This is another reminder of the heavy price we pay in this just war. This is a war for our future and the future of our children.
“Together, we will prevail. I will continue to brief and update you on any developments”, he said.
Meanwhile, Head of the Intelligence Directorate, General Shlomi Binder has visited the IDF Intelligence bases where he commended the soldiers.
“You delivered the intelligence that opened the route to Tehran, and soon you will do so in additional arenas; alongside Iran, our eyes are on the hostages in Gaza and the various threats to the soldiers at the front and the civilians on the home front.”
” You have proven that you know how to break through boundaries and reach any objective.
“Always remember that we are not only operating in one arena. We are operating against Iran but we also keep our eyes on our hostages in Gaza and on the various threats to the soldiers at the front and the civilians on the home front. You are also the eyes of Israel’s civilians and bear the heavy responsibility of delivering timely warnings that allow our citizens to enter protected areas and safeguard their lives.
“From extraordinary challenges, you led us to an extraordinary achievement. I am proud of you and I trust you. Stay humble, stay modest, and keep moving forward.”
