TEHRAN, Iran – The Aerospace Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC continued the tit for tat attacks on Tuesday, launching over 30 regular and advanced missiles into Israel.
The targets this time were the Israeli Military Intelligence Headquarters, known as AMAN, and what Iran called the centre for planning assassinations and acts sabotage, Mossad, all in Tel Aviv.
“We inform the dear Iranian people that a new wave of missile attacks launched by the IRGC’s Aerospace Force was launched moments ago, and it was more powerful and devastating than its predecessors.
“The innovations and capabilities employed in this operation, despite the comprehensive support the enemy receives from America and Western powers, and its possession of the latest and most advanced defense technologies, resulted in the missiles hitting their targets with utmost precision and effectiveness within the occupied territories”, the IRGC said.
It added that the most effective, precise and crushing operations against the vital targets of this artificial entity will continue until it is completely eliminated”, the statement said.
Quoting the Quran, the statement said:
“So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you…”
(Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 194)
“With the grace of Almighty God, in the early hours of today, Tuesday 27 Khordad (17 June), the fighters of the IRGC Aerospace Force, in a decisive operation, despite the presence of highly advanced air defense systems, struck the zionist regime’s Military Intelligence Headquarters (known as Aman) and the center for planning assassinations and acts of sabotage (Mossad) in “Tel Aviv”. This facility is currently engulfed in flames.
“And victory is only from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise”, it said.
Speaking on the Iranian attacks l, the Bat Yam Municipality said 80 buildings were damaged by Iranian missiles adding that 22 buildings are at risk of collapse and will be demolished.
The municipality said search and rescue operations is ongoing to find missing persons
