    Coronavirus takes 2677 lives in India as active cases in Nigeria drops to 1554

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 11 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases in the country to 166, 767. But out of the 166, 767 all time cases, 163, 096 patients have been treated and discharged, while  2, 117 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 1554 active cases of Coronavirus.

    NCDC @NCDC gov 11 new cases of ##COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-9, FCT-1 and Kano-1: 166,767 confirmed; 163,096 discharged and 2,117 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

    There are now 173, 191, 986 confirmed cases of Coronavirus globally,  3, 725, 982 lives are no more, while 2, 108, 167, 048 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States of America remains the most afflicted country, reporting  33, 362,  247  confirmed cases while 597,  624 lives  have been taken by  the pandemic(9715 new and 329 deaths*), followed by India which has reported 28, 809, 339  all time infections, while 346,759  patients have lost their lives(114, 460 new and 2677 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 16,947, 062 confirmed cases, while 473, 404  other patients have kicked the bucket(105, 654 new and 2562 deaths*).

    France  remains the 4th country most afflicted, reporting 5, 774, 361  all time infections, while 110, 160 others are no more alive(5070 new and 25 deaths*) and Turkey with 5, 287, 980 all time cases, while 48, 164 patients have died(5386 new and 96 deaths*) and Russia which has reported 5, 067, 246 all time cases, while 121,711 others are no more(9025 new and 346 deaths*).

    The United Kingdom is the 7th country most hit, now reporting 4,532,801 registered cases, while 128, 103  others have perished(5224 new and 04 deaths*), followed by  Italy which has reported  4, 232, 428 all time infections, while 126,523 others  are already dead and(2275 new and 51 deaths*) Argentina which has reported 3, 955, 439   all time cases, while 81, 214  patients have passed out(40, 042 new and 803 deaths*).

    Germany remains the 10th country most afflicted, now reporting 3, 708, 782  all time cases, while 89, 234 lives have been killed by the pandemic(2848 new and 31 deaths*) and South Africa which has reported  1, 696,564  all time cases, while 56, 974 patients are no more(10, 523 new and 142 deaths*).
