    Coronavirus: US reports over 1 million cases 3092 death

    LAGOS, Nigeria – There are now  336,093, 996 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 561, 727 patients have died from the pandemic, while 9, 708, 343,765 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 68, 221, 992 confirmed cases, while 856, 628 lives have perished(1,049, 697 new and 3092 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 37, 901, 241  all time infections, while 487,202 patients could not make it alive(282, 970 new and 441 deaths#) , and Brazil, which has reported 23,229,851 total infections and 621, 803 deaths(140, 336 new and 325 deaths#).

    The United Kingdom has come up as the 4th country most hit, reporting 15, 609, 546 all time cases, while 153,376 lives have perished (103, 173 new and 361 deaths#), followed by France, with 14, 289, 873 all time cases, while 128, 641 others could not survive the pandemic and Russia, now reporting with 10, 716, 397 total infections, while 316,852 patients could not make it alive.

    Turkey remains the 7th country most afflicted, reporting 10, 593,687   all time infections, while 85,077 patients have died and Italy, with 9, 219, 391 total infections and 142, 205 deaths (200, 966 new and 380 deaths#) and Spain, which has recorded 8, 676, 916 confirmations and 91, 437 deaths (160, 941 new and 160 deaths#).

    Germany  is still the 10th country most affected with 8, 262,908 documented cases of infections, while 116, 179 patients could not make it alive(122, 515 new and 263 deaths#) and  South Africa, which is the most afflicted country in Africa.

    South Africa has reported 3, 564, 578 total infections while 93,571 lives have perished as a result of complications from the Coronavirus pandemic.
