LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 766 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 247, 775.
But out of the 247, 775 total cases of infections, 218, 427 patients have been treated and discharged, while 3, 071 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 26, 277 active cases, while one patient died in the last 24 hours.

There are now 304, 459, 245 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic, worldwide, 5, 483,528 patients have perished, while 9, 394, 953,430 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States of America remains the most afflicted, reporting 59, 587, 758 total infections, while 837,123 patients have passed on(489, 262 new and 1129 deaths#), followed by India, which has reported 35, 368, 372 all time infections, while 483,463 patients are no more(141, 986 new and 285 deaths#) and Brazil, which has documented 22, 328, 252 total cases, while 619, 654 patients could not make it alive.
The United Kingdom continues as the 4th country most hit by Coronavirus pandemic, reporting 14, 421,635 all time cases and 150, 536 deaths(141, 860 new and 314 deaths#), followed by France, which has registered 11, 921, 925 all time infections, while 126, 337 others could not make it alive(303, 701 new and 142 deaths#) and Russia, now with 10, 453, 895 all time infections, while 309, 041 patients have passed on(16, 424 new and 783 deaths#).
Turkey remains the 7th country most hit, now reporting 9, 918, 695 confirmed cases, while 83, 529 patients have died from the pandemic( 66, 237 new and 141 deaths#), followed by Germany, now reporting 7, 500, 830 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, while 113, 939 lives have been wasted by the pandemic(42, 397 new and 222 deaths#)and Italy now reporting 7, 281, 297 total cases, while 138, 881 patients could not make it alive(197, 535 new and 184 deaths#).
Spain is the 10th country most hit, reporting 7, 164, 906 total infections, while 89, 934 patients have passed on(242, 440 new and 97 deaths#) and South Africa, the most afflicted country in Africa.
South Africa has reported 3, 521,572 total cases of infections, while 92, 371 lives have been wasted by the pandemic (7759 new and 119 deaths#).
