    LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 537 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases in the country to 248,  312.

    But out of the 248, 312 total cases of infections,  218, 996  patients have been treated and discharged, while 3,077 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 26, 239 active cases, while 6 others could not make it alive.  

    NCDC: 537 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Rivers – 313, Lagos – 178, FCT -19, Kaduna – 11, Gombe – 6, Ogun – 6, Ekiti -3, Abia 1: 248, 312 confirmed; 218, 996 discharged;  3077 deaths, the NCDC has announced.

    There are now 306, 458, 415 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 487, 422  patients have  passed on,  while 9, 407, 678, 115 doses of Coronavirus pandemic have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted, reporting 59, 933, 290 total cases of infections, while 837, 410 patients have kicked the bucket(834, 794 new and 1416  deaths#), followed by India, which has reported 35,528,004 total cases of infections, while 483, 790 patients could not make it alive(306, 618 new and 612 deaths#), and Brazil,  which has reported 22, 505, 547  total cases of infections, while 620, 205 patients have passed on (177, 295 new and 551 deaths#).

    The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit by the pandemic, reporting 14, 563,769 total cases of infections and 150, 634 deaths (283, 994 new and 412 deaths#), followed by  France, which has reported 12, 218, 022 total infections, while 126, 427 patients could not make it alive(599, 798 new and 232 deaths#)  and Russia, which has documented 10, 470, 006 all time cases of infections, while 309, 787 lives have perished(32, 535 new and  1529 deaths#).

     Turkey, the 7th country most hit has reported 9, 918, 695 total cases, while 83, 529 patients have passed on (66, 237 new and 141 deaths#) and Germany, which has documented 7, 531,630  all time cases, while 113,999 patients have died(73, 197 new and 282 deaths#) and Italy, now reporting 7, 436, 939 total infections, while 139, 038 others could not make it alive(353, 177 new and 341 deaths#).

    Spain is the 10th country most hit, reporting 7, 164, 906 total cases of infections, while 89, 934 patients have passed on(242, 440 new and 97 deaths#) and South Africa, the most afflicted country in Africa. South Africa has documented 3, 526, 054  total cases, while 92, 453 patients have perished as a result of the pandemic(12, 241 new and 201 deaths#).
