IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – The management of Chrisland Schools Limited has insisted that the secondary arm of the school remains closed following the orders of the Lagos Stage Government, contrary to reports in the social media.

In a statement, the management said the school has two units in the axis,  Chrisland School Opebi, a primary school  and Chrisland High School Ikeja, a secondary school, which is affected by the Lagos State Government order.

The school issued a  statement, following what it described as misinformation on many social media platforms that, Chrisland High School Ikeja, was opened to learners today.

“We want to reiterate that we are a law-abiding organisation and will always adhere to the directives of all regulatory bodies.

“Chrisland Schools Limited has two units in Ikeja; Chrisland High School Ikeja (a secondary school) and Chrisland School Opebi (a primary school).  In line with the State Government’s directive, Chrisland High School Ikeja was closed today”, the school said.

Chrisland Schools Limited said it continues to mourn the “loss of our own dear student Adeniran Whitney and prays that the Almighty God will give the family and the school the fortitude to bear the great loss”.
