The Lagos State Government on Friday paid the sum of N21, 375,333,764.77kobo into the retirement savings accounts of 3,884 retirees under the contributory pension scheme. Director-General, Lagos State Pension Commission, Mr. Rotimi Adekunle Hussain made the revelation during presentation of retirement bond certificates to the second tranche of the 9th batch of 580 employees who recently retired from the state public service. The Golden Eaglets on Friday defeated defending champions, Mexico 3-0 to lift the FIFA Under 17 tournament at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirate.
