LAGOS, Nigeria – There are now 187, 092, 329 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 4, 035, 291 patients have been killed by the virus, while 3, 460,187, 865 Coronavirus vaccines have been administered globally, based on the latest statistics from the  Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting  33,876,872 confirmed cases, while 607, 389 patients have passed on (24, 835 new cases and 239 deaths*), followed by India which has documented 30, 874, 376  all time cases, while 408, 764 lives have perished(37, 154 new cases and 724 deaths*) and Brazil which has reported 19, 089, 940  all time cases, while 533,488 patients are no more(20, 937 new cases and 595 deaths*).

France has come up as the 4^th country most afflicted, reporting 5, 875, 979 all time cases, while 111,543  patients have perished(1260 new cases and 28 deaths*), followed by Russia, which has documented 5,738, 000 cases and 141, 335 deaths(24, 649 new cases and 700 deaths*) and Turkey which has reported 5, 465, 094 all time cases, while 50, 096 patients have perished.

The United Kingdom has come up as the 7^th country most afflicted, reporting 5, 173, 167 confirmed cases, while 128, 697 lives have been wasted (34, 012 new cases and 6 deaths*), followed by Argentina with 4, 647, 948  all time cases, while 98, 781 patients are now dead(8850 new cases and 280 deaths*) and Colombia, which has reported 4, 471, 622 confirmations while 111, 731 lives have perished.

Italy remains the 4^th country most infected by the virus, reporting  4, 272,163 confirmations and 127, 788 deaths(541 new cases and 13 deaths*) and South Africa  with 2, 206,781  all time cases, while 64, 509 patients have kicked the bucket(11, 182 new cases and 220 deaths*).
