LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 146 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases in the country to 168, 256. But out of the 168, 256 confirmed cases, 164, 415 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 123 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 1718 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic and 1 death in the last 24 hours.

There are now 185, 428, 303 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 4,007,755 patients are now dead, a new landmark since the outbreak of the pandemic, while 3, 349, 485,058 doses of Coronavirus pandemic have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the Centre, the United States remains the most afflicted, now reporting 33,787, 371 confirmations and 606, 443 deaths(22, 699 new cases and 264 deaths*), followed by India, which has reported 30, 709, 557 all time infections, while 405, 028 patients have been killed by the pandemic(45, 892 new cases and 817 deaths*) and Brazil which has reported 18, 962, 762 all time cases, while 530,179 lives have been lost to the pandemic(107, 747 new cases and 3287 deaths*).
France has come up as the next country most infected, reporting 5, 861, 124 confirmations, while 111, 473 patients could not make it alive(4444 new cases and 25 deaths*), followed by Russia with 5, 638, 901 all time cases, while 138, 441 patients have died(24, 361 new cases and 723 deaths*) and Turkey which has registered 5, 465, 094 confirmed cases, while 50, 096 patients have passed on(10, 331 new cases and 100 deaths*).
The United Kingdom remains the 7th country most hit by the virus, reporting 5, 039, 950 all time infections, while 128, 600 lives are no more(31, 986 new cases and 35 deaths*), followed by Argentina with 4, 593, 763 confirmed cases, while 97, 439 lives have been lost to the virus(19, 423 new cases and 456 deaths*) and Colombia which has documented 4, 426, 811 all time cases, while 110, 578 other patients have kicked the bucket(24, 229 new cases and 559 deaths*).
Italy has been pushed down to the 10th most afflicted country with 4, 267, 105 cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 127, 731 lives have perished as a result of the pandemic(1391 new cases and 13 deaths*) and South Africa which has registered 2, 135, 246 all time cases, while 63,499 patients have lost their lives to the pandemic(22, 910 new cases and 460 deaths*).
