UK, June 25, 2016 – Over 1 million people worldwide have signed a petition demanding a rerun of the referendum which effectively ended UK stay in the European Union (EU).
In the referendum, 51.9 British citizens voted YES, while 48.1 voted NO.
But the petitioners are calling on the HM Government to implement a rule that if the Remain or Leave vote is less than 60 percent based on turnout less than 75 percent, there should be another referendum.
So far about 1, 014, 581 have signed the petition.
