Iran vows retaliation on Gulf power plants, Desalination plants

President of the United States, DONALD TRUMP has ignited a terrifying global standoff by vowing to “blow up” Iran’s largest power plant unless the regime reopens the vital Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours.
The President took to his Truth Social platform in a characteristic fire-and-fury outburst, delivering a final ultimatum to Tehran that has sent shockwaves through global oil markets and sparked fears of a “Total War” in the Middle East.
Trump’s late-night post warned that the United States military is “locked and loaded” to take out Iran’s critical energy infrastructure.
”Iran has made a big mistake by closing the Strait of Hormuz,” the President wrote. “They have 48 hours to open it up or I will personally oversee the destruction of their largest power plant. We will not be bullied by a rogue regime!”
The Strait of Hormuz is the world’s most important oil chokepoint, with roughly 20% of the world’s total oil consumption passing through the narrow waterway daily.
Iran’s leadership didn’t flinch, responding within hours with a chilling counter-threat that could plunge the entire Middle East into a humanitarian catastrophe.
A spokesperson for the Iranian regime warned that if Trump pulls the trigger, they will retaliate by targeting:
Power Grids: Destroying major power plants across the Gulf states including:
Water Supplies: Obliterating desalination plants, which provide the vast majority of drinking water for millions in the region.
”If the Great Satan strikes our energy, no one in the Gulf will have light or water,” the Tehran statement read. “We will turn the region into a desert of darkness.”
This escalation marks the most dangerous moment in US-Iran relations for decades. Here is why the stakes are so high
