LAGOS, Nigeria – A renowned senior advocate of Nigeria and prosecutor to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC Mr Rotimi Jacobs SAN have been conferred with a national honour CON.
The immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari found the legal juggernaut worthy of the honour alongside various eminent Nigerian that have contributed their quota to the development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in their various fields and profession.
Jacobs has agued many cases and won up to supreme Court especially in the area of fighting against the economic and financial crimes.
Notable is the prosecution and conviction of former governor of Plateau state Joshua Dariye and former Taraba state governor Jolly Nyame for diverting public funds while in office. to mention but few. It is an honour well deserved.
