    Coronavirus: Nigeria reports 612 cases 5, 304, 976 deaths worldwide

    Nigeria reports 612 new cases of Coronavirus
    The GRA flyover bridge was awarded in August 2020 and commissioned on the 11th of December 2021. Its the 5th of the 10 flyovers by HE Governor Nyesom Wike promise to deliver before leaving office.

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 612 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to  217, 063.

    But out of the 217, 063 total cases,  207, 703 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 981 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 6379 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic.

    “NCDC: 612 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos -483,  FCT -49, Rivers – 38,  Oyo – 31,  Delta – 5,  Ekiti – 4, Bauchi – 1, Jigawa -1;  217, 063 confirmed ;  207,  703 discharged; 2, 981 deaths”, the NCDC  has announced.

    There are now 270, 013, 152 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 304,976 patients have passed on, while 8,435,064,094 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 49, 896,842 confirmed cases, while 797, 258 patients have passed on, followed by India, which has reported 34, 690, 510 total cases of infections, while 475,434 others patients could not make it alive and Brazil, which has reported 22, 177, 059 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 616, 457 patients could not make it alive.

     The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 10, 881,128 total cases of infections and 146,896 deaths, followed by  Russia with 9, 842, 021 total cases, while 283,815 patients are no more and Turkey with 9, 024, 193 confirmations, while 78, 969 patients could not make it alive.

    France remains the 7th country most hit,  now reporting 8,362,843 total infections and 121,416 deaths, followed by Germany  with  6, 530,704 all time cases, while 105, 701 others have passed on  and  Iran, which has reported 6,154,813 total cases and 130, 722 deaths.

    Argentina has come up as the 10th country most hit with 5, 356, 885 total confirmations, while 116,760 others could not make it alive and South Africa, which has reported 3, 129, 622 total cases and  90, 116 deaths.
