LAGOS, Nigeria – After his triumphant entry into Lagos, leading Nigerians in the streets from Alaba Market to Idumota on the way to the Mother of all rallies in Lagos, the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has meet with Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Aare Gani Adams.
The Aare received Peter Obi, who has won all the online polls conducted ahead of the February 25 Presidential election at his palatial Omole Home in Ikeja, Lagos along with other prominent members of the Yoruba sociocultural organization, Afenifere.
Gani Adams, is one of the influential Yoruba leaders supporting the presidential ambition of Peter Obi.
Writing on the visit, Kowa Yahaya said Afenifere was not joking when it endorsed Peter Obi.
“If the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, is supporting Peter Obi, the likelihood of violence on Election Day in the Southwest is reduced by 40%.”, he said.
Peter Obi was also at the popular Ladipo market and Computer Village, Ikeja to solicit for votes and just like on Saturday, it was another successful outfing for him as the traders came out enmass to catch a glimpse of him during this market storm.
