THE HAGUE, Netherlands – The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu is horrified as his empire collapses under his feet, following the decision of the International Criminal Court, ICC to issue the long awaited warrant of arrest on him and his sacked War Minister, Yoav Gallant.

The ICC has for months given its intention to issue this arrest warrants but the Israeli warlord was set on his goals for achieving his dream of greater Israel even if it means setting the whole Middle East on fire.

Palestine: ICC seeks arrest warrants on Netanyahu, Gallant, Yahaya Sinwar, others

He has killed almost 44,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children in the most atrocious manner. Over 105,000 Palestinians now live with lifetime injuries.  Almost 200 UN staff, scores of medical personnel and almost 200 journalists exposing the war crimes in Gaza have all been killed by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) better known in Gaza as Israel Occupation Forces, IOF.

Still there are thousands unaccounted for, buried under rubbles in Gaza following the deadly and criminal decision of the Islamic resistant in Palestine to invade Israel during the Nova Music festival on October 7, 2023, killed 1,139 civilians including soldiers and took about 200 people into captivity.

About 100 captives still remain with Hamas in the Gaza Strip. But Netanyahu seemed not concerned with negotiation with Hamas to send these innocent Israelis languishing in Hamas cells home. Hamas wants the Israelis exchanged for over 30,000 Palestinians in various detention centres in Israel – among them children arrested for throwing stones on Israeli APCs who regularly raid the West Bank and other areas in Palestine.

Gaza has today been rendered unlivable, infrastructures and farmlands completely obliterated with most of the residents defiant on  living in their homeland finding themselves in makeshift tenth yet Netanyahu continues to rain bombs on them, some phosphorous bombs which have permanently decapitated and disfigured many within the Gaza Strip.

But Netanyahu is not satisfied but he is now angry that the ICC has issued the long awaited arrest warrants on him even after committing worst crimes in human history when compared to the late German leader, Adolf Hitler.

Netanyahu believes he is innocent and has been wrongly accused of war crimes by the court.  He sees the ICC decision as anti-Semitic, the language he and his allies have always used to denigrate anybody that voices opposition to what he is doing in Palestine.

As he puts it, “the anti-Semitic decision of the international court in The Hague is a modern day Dreyfus trial and it will end the same way”, he said in text and video on X.

In his reaction, the leader of the Central Council of Jews in Germany denounced the International Criminal Court in The Hague on Thursday over arrest warrants issues for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the former defence minister.

“This arrest warrant against a prime minister of a democratic state and his former defence minister is an absurdity,” said Central Council President Josef Schuster in Berlin.

The ICC on Thursday ordered the arrest of Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant on suspicion of war crimes and crimes against humanity, as well as the leader of the Palestinian militant Islamist group Hamas, Mohammad Diab Ibrahim Al-Masrias well as the leader of the Palestinian militant Islamist group Hamas, also known as Mohammad Deif.

The ICC’s Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan requested the arrest warrants in May. Schuster reacted indignantly and demanded that the “German government must not accept this perpetrator-victim reversal.”

“Israel is defending itself against Islamist terror in Gaza and Lebanon after the Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023,” he said. “The semantic dualism alone, putting Israel on the same level as Hamas, borders on impudence and a completely misguided understanding of the office of an international criminal court as a result of anti-Israel propaganda.”
