LAGOS, Nigeria – Gbadebo Vivor Rhodes has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Labour Party, LP in Lagos.
He defeated Alhaji Moshood Salvador to emerge candidate of the party. He described Salvador as a leader and father, he wants to consult based on his wealth of experience in Lagos business and politics.
“He has renowned business experience and has been in politics for a very long time. I know he is somebody when we work together, we can take Lagos”, he said, describing the election as free and fair and that only very few party would have been able to achieve it.
“Everybody saw it and it was rancor-free, I feel that it is the party that is ready to take over the reign of Lagos”, he said.
Gbadebo Vivor Rhodes commended Labour Party for the way it conducted the primaries, describing it as free and fair.
He said the Labour Party has shown character to have capacity of what the party wants to bring to Lagos which is transparency and accountability.
