MBANEFO: WE SUPPORT OZIGBO BASED ON PAST RECORDS
EKWUEME: OZIGBO’S PAST RECORDS POSITIVE AND INTIMIDATING

ONITSHA, Anambra – Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Anambra state has stated that nobody can rig the 2021 governorship election in the state.
The Director-General, Valetine Ozigbo Campaign Council Dr. Alex Obiogbolu stated this in Asaba, Delta State during the party governorship candidate Mr. Valentine Ozigbo town hall meeting with Anambra citizens
According to him, the era of election rigging election in the state was over , assuring that every vote in the forthcoming election would be counted.
“Those who believe on rigging the election will be disappointed at the end of the day” he said. The President of Anambra Forum in Delta State Mr. Victor Mbanefo said they are nonpartisan but decided to support Ozigbo based on his past records while in Transcorp Plc and his humility as a person.
According to him, if Ozigbo becomes the governor of Anambra state , the state will not only be the best in Nigeria but in Africa. He urged all Anambra resident in Delta to put calls across to their family members and friends at home to vote massively for Valentine Ozigbo.
The daughter of late Dr. Alex Ekwueme, Lady Chika Onyemelukwe in her speech, called on women and youths to see VOC as the only man that will see for their needs. According to her, days were gone when youths and women are relegated to the background in the politics .
She said they are supporting the party’s candidate because of his past records which said was positive and intimidating. Speaking ,Ozigbo said he left his prestigious job as President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc to come home and serve the people of Anambra State,.
He assured the audience that he will keep to his all campaign promises because he has a name to protect.
“I choose to run for the governorship position under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP because of the acceptance of the party by Ndigbo. I am regretting that the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA has failed the citizenry and today, no nobody, including those campaigning under the platform of APGA, are proud to identify with the party publicly” he said .
Valentine Ozigbo said his administration was going make the state habitable and most business-friendly state of the federation by industrializing and urbanizing some of the council areas. According to him, those places known for agriculture would be made not only to produce foods but to preserve and export their farm produces
Dignitaries in Valentine Ozigbo’s entourage to Delta State are, Rt. Hon. Obinna Chidoka, the Director of Val campaign Council Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, first woman speaker, State House of Assembly, and one time House of Reps Member Rt. Hon. Eucharia Azodo, former Commissioner in Anambra State Hon. Rose Nwankwo, amongst others.
