LOKOJA, Kogi, Nigeria – The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party(SDP) in Kogi State, Barrister Natasha Akpoti is furious. Never has a woman expressed so much bitterness, disappointment and hopelessness about the future of any country.

Natasha Akpoti on fire

Natasha Akpoti spoke from the bottom of her heart during the tour of the SDP secretariat in Kogi State which was burnt down by thugs she alleged to be loyal to Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.

She dared President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s symbol of intergrity to prove Nigerians wrong that he condones brigandage of such magnitude by stripping the governor of the state and candidate of the rulling All Progressive Congress(APC) of immunity if he is actually a man of intergrity as he portrays himself.

She described Yayaha Bello as evil personified and wondered what legacy he would be leaving behind for his wonderful children. Natasha Akpoti equally challenged Chairman of the Governors’ Forum, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, who is governor of Ekiti State and the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, whom she said told her in very strong terms that he would support Yahaya Bello come what may. She equally challenged Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to tell Nigerians if this is the change the APC change mantra is all about.

She described as shameful that President Muhammadu Buhari could allow a man whom she said has killed so many and had threatened to kill her to continue to sustain his his thirst for blood and bring another reign of terror on the people of Kogi, whom she said have been pauperised with no food to eat, with many of the ladies resorting to prostitution to earn a living.

The SDP governorship candidate said she decided to vie for office of the governor to bring succour to the people of Kogi whom she said have been rendered hopeless by the 4 year reign of Yahaya Bello.
