ABUJA, Nigeria – The senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Sani has warned the presidency to be wary if they are toying with the possibility of opening a probe on the era that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo held the reign as President of Nigeria.

Obasanjo ruled Nigeria from May 29, 1999 to May 29, 2007 during which he doubled as Minister of Petroleum Resources. It was also an era when a total of $16 billion was allegedly squandered on the power sector without a commesurate result.

Not too long ago, President Buhari lamented about the situation shortly after after Obasanjo wrote a letter warning Buhari not to try his luck further by running for a second term.

But the senator who has dumped the All Progressive Congress(APC) for the Peoples Redemption Party(PRP) warned that even if the Buhari-led APC government decides to open and probe the kitchen and the food store left by Obasanjo because of his bitter letters, government will be too shocked to discover that many on the dinning table today are using thesame table manners and cutlery they used for Obasanjo’s spaghetti for his noddles.

“If you decide to open & probe the Kitchen and the food store left by Obj because of his bitter leaf letters, you will see the names of many people on your dining table today, the table manners and the cutlery they used for his spaghetti is thesame they are using for your noodles”, he said.
