GUSAU, Zamfara, Nigeria – The All Progressive Congress(APC) seemed has lost the opportunity to field a governorship candidate in Zamfara for the 2019 general elections.

This is due to the expiration of deadline given by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) to all parties to submit thier governorship candidates for the election. INEC deadline expired October 7 but inner wranglings in the APC has prevented the party from organising a successful primary in the state, forcing the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to raise the alarm and warning INEC not to alter the rules to accommodate the ruling APC.
