LAGOS, Nigeria – Former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Ayodele Fayose has been released from detention after spending two weeks in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC).
He was released today after perfecting his bail condition. Fayose was arraigned last week before Justice Mojisola Olaterogun of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos.
justice Olaterogun admitted Fayose to bail in the sum of N50 million with two sureties in like sum. Sureties must have landed properties in choice area in Lagos with proof of tax payment.
