MINNA, Niger, Nigeria – As Nigeria celebrates Democracy Day, former Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida has said that the work of Nigeria is not yet complete based on the current reality in Nigeria.

According to the former Head of State, the work on Nigeria is incomplete as long as the common man still goes to bed on empty stomach without being able to afford what to eat.

“As long as the common man goes to bed on an empty stomach, without being able to afford what to eat; the work of Nigeria is not complete”, IBB said in a statement to mark democracy day on Tweeter.

The general had in the past said that he constructed the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos to make life easier for Nigerians and that he would not bother to write an autobiography because nobody will read it because of his bad deeds.

He also prides himself very high for conducting the freest and fairest election in the country.
