Nigeria, August 2, 2016 – Lagos Water Corporation has appealed to the general public over the temporary disruption of water supply to some parts of the Lagos metropolis.
In a statement issued today by the Corporation, its Group Managing Director, Engr. Muminu Badmus said the disruption of public water supply is due to the shortage of gas at the corporation’s Independent Power Plants (IPP).
The LWC Boss, however, assured the Lagosians of initiating an alternative power source to restore water supply within Lagos Metropolis as soon as possible.
While reiterating the Corporation’s commitment towards providing uninterrupted water supply in the State, the GMD regrets all inconveniences resulting from the disruption during this period and solicits for the understanding and cooperation of the general public.
