December 9, 2014 – The National Working Committee of the Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA) has distanced the party from the statement made in Ebonyi by one Prince Samuel Udeogu, a member of the party titled “why we don’t want Gov. Elechi” .
According to Chairman of the party, Chief Peter Ameh, such reckless and unauthorized statement offends Article 12 of the constitution of the party, adding that he has been summoned to appear before the National Working Committee of the party on Monday 15th December 2014 to come and show cause why disciplinary action should not be taken against him.
“Our party want to assure all who wish to join forces with us that they are welcome as long as they respect the party’s supremacy and key into our resolve to ensure prosperity to the people.
“The statement was authored by those who do not mean well for the development of the State and Eboyians in general and hereby urge all well meaning Eboyians and members of the public to disregard such orchestrated statement as the person in question lack the capacity to speak on behave of the party”, the chairman said.
