    ‘The Maze Runner’ Pushes ‘No Good Deed’ Two Steps Down With Just $32.5m

    September 22, 2014 – Sales picked up just a little bit at the weekend with three new films leading the pack in box office sales. They include The Maze Runner, A Walk Among The Tombstones and This Is Where I Leave You.

    However, The Maze Runner put together by Fox Pictures proved to be the most patronized film at the weekend after making $32.5 million from 3,604 film viewing centres in the US to emerge as the most watched movie.

    At number 2 is A Walk Among The Tombstones put together by Universal Pictures. The film garnered $13.126 million from 2, 712 theatres where it was exhibited in the US. This is Where I Leave You is the third most patronized movie of the week. Put together by Warner Brothers, the film made $11.860 million after passing through 2,868 film viewing centres in the US.

    No Good Deed, which was number 1 last week was pushed to number 4 this week when sales in box office dropped to $10.2 million in 2, 175 theatres.
    At number 5 is Dolphin Tale 2 which was number 2 last week. The film rewarded Werner Brothers with a little over $9 million after passing through 3, 656 theatres in the US.

    Other new films that made it to the box office during the week include Tusk, The Guest, The Zero Theorem, Hector and The Search for Happiness, Pump, 20,000 Days on Earth, Tracks, Not Cool, Keep On Keepin’ On and Stop the Pounding Heart.
