The crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has assumed another dimension as a result of the recalcitrant nature of the rebel governors to yield to attempt by the President Goodluck Jonathan to bring them back into the fold.

We gathered that President has decided to move against the governors by first terminating appointment of serving ministers deemed to have been nominated by the governors and those who have demonstrated either in words or in body language that they are loyal to the governors.

The affected ministers are are Ruqayat Rufai (Education); Zainab Kunchi (Power, [state]); Buka Tijani (Agriculture [state]), Shamsudeen Usman (National Planning); others are Ita Okon (Science and Technology); Olugbenga Ashiru (Foreign Affairs); Ama Pepple (Lands) and Hadiza Mailafia (Environment).

We gathered that the President only thanked them for their service to the nation. No reason has so far been given for the sack
