LAGOS, Nigeria – Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has congratulated Mr. Obioma Somtochi Ugorji, who emerged as the 2023 overall best graduating student of Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California, United States
Obioma achieved a minimum 3.7 grade point average after at least sixty graded semester hours in residence at the university.
“I sincerely congratulate Obioma Somtochi Ugorji, the young Nigerian boy who emerged as the 2023 best-graduating student of Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California, USA”, Peter Obi said, adding that he rejoices with him for achieving this great feat in education.
Obi said, Ugorji not only proved his worth in education, but also demonstrated his pride and confidence in his Nigerian origin by buttressing the true Nigerian spirit of unity, resilience and hard work.
“He has by his achievement brought honour to the nation. Obioma’s achievement will inspire many youths in Nigeria and beyond to strive hearder for success. I wish him well in his future endeavours”, Peter Obi said.
