SAUDI ARABIA – It was another day of glory for Nigeria in far away Riyadh, when Anthony Joshua reclaimed his World Heavyweight Boxing title by beating the very bulky Andy Ruiz on points.
With the win, Anthony Joshua has claimed all the titles IBF, WBA and WBO. Anthony Joshua, a British-Nigerian defeated the Mexican Andy Ruiz by a unanimous victory of 118-110 118-110 and 119-109.
It was victory well earned by Anthony Joshua in the front of 14,000 capacity newly built arena in Saudi Arabia. Anthony Joshua who is now looking very fit and agile jumped up and down in wild jubilation to celebrate his much deserved victory.
Now 30, Anthony Joshua now joined the ranks of heavywieght champions like Muhammad Ali, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson and Floyd Patterson who have been able to reclaim the world heavyweight championship title.
