    Coronavirus: Nigeria reports 541 new cases 26, 508 in the UK

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed  541 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in the country, bringing all time cases to 182, 503. But out of the 182, 503  all time cases, 167, 132 patients have been treated and discharged, while  2, 219 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 13, 152 active cases of Coronavirus in the country.#Coronavirus

    “NCDC: 541 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos – 242, Akwa Ibom – 94, Enugu – 48, Oyo – 48, Anambra – 34,  Rivers – 34,  Ogun – 17, FCT- 9, Kwara – 7,  Abia – 5,  Delta – 2, Niger -1: 182, 503 confirmed;  167, 132 discharged, 2, 219 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

    There are now 207, 104, 525 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 4, 360, 667  patients are no  more, while 4, 581, 635, 613 doses of Coronavirus vaccines  have been administered worldwide, based on the latest update from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    But according to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 36, 665, 970 all time cases, while 621, 595  patients are no more alive(39, 246 new and 393 deaths*), followed by India, with 32, 192, 576  all time infections, while 431,225 patients have been killed by the virus(36, 083 new and 493 deaths*), while  Brazil has reported 20, 350,142 all time cases, while 568, 788 patients have kicked the bucket(31, 142 new and 926 deaths*) .

    Russia has come up as the 4th country most hit, reporting 6, 511, 431 all time cases, while 167, 595 patients are no more(21, 010 new and 800 deaths*) and France with 6, 471, 262 all time cases, while 112, 705 patients have passed on and the United Kingdom with 6, 297, 107  confirmed cases and  131, 269 deaths(26, 508 new and 60 deaths*).

    Turkey remains the 7th country most afflicted, reporting 6, 078 , 623  confirmed cases, while 53,159  patients are already dead(38, 796 new and 299 deaths*), and Argentina, which has documented 5, 080, 908 all time cases, while 108, 936 patients have died(6183 new and 121 deaths*) and Colombia with 4, 864, 629 all time cases while 123, 356 patients have passed on.

    Spain remains the 10th country most hit with 4, 693, 540 all time cases, while 82, 470  patients have passed on and South Africa, which has documented  2, 605, 586 all time cases, while 77, 141  patients have passed on(10, 139 new and 272 deaths*).
