    Nigeria reports 155 new cases of Coronavirus 3140 active as USA lists 157, 341 cases in 24 hours

    Total cases of Coronavirus now 58,456,049 cases 19.6 million active globally

    LAGOS, Nigeria- The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 155 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 66,383.  But out of the 66,383  all time cases, 62,076 patients have been treated and  discharged, while 1,167  others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3140 active cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirusnigeria.

    Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-60,  Katsina-37,  Kaduna-35, FCT-6, Ogun-4, Edo-3, Kwara-3, Rivers-2, Kano-2, Jigawa-1, Oyo-1 and Taraba-1;  66,383 confirmed; 62,076 discharged; 1,167 deaths, making a total of 155 new cases of Coronavirus.

    “NCDC@NCDCgov155 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-60,  Katsina-37,  Kaduna-35, FCT-6, Ogun-4, Edo-3, Kwara-3, Rivers-2, Kano-2, Jigawa-1, Oyo-1 and Taraba-1;  66,383 confirmed; 62,076 discharged; 1,167 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

    There are now 58,456,049 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 1,385,163 deaths, while 37, 383,305 others have been treated successfully and discharged. There are now 19, 687, 581 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide based on current statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University,(JHU) Maryland.

    JHU reported that the United States of America remains the most afflicted country in terms of number afflicted and total number of deaths. Specifically, the USA has documented 12, 177, 301 confirmed cases,  256, 442 deaths, while 4, 529, 700 patients are have been treated and discharged, leaving the United States of America with 7, 391, 159  active cases of Coronavirus(157, 341 new cases), followed by India which has confirmed  9, 095, 806 cases, 133, 227 deaths and 8, 521, 617  recoveries, leaving India with 440, 962 patients still down with Coronavirus hoping for the best of medical care to keep living(45, 211 new cases) and Brazil which has confirmed  6, 052, 786  all time cases,  168, 989 patients are already dead, while 5,437,189 others are now hale and hearty, leaving Brazil with 446, 608 active cases of Coronavirus(32, 622 new cases).

    France is next as the 4th country worst hit, reporting  2, 178, 023 all time cases, 48, 593 patients are already dead, while 156,755 others have regained their health, leaving France with 1, 972, 675 active cases of Coronavirus(17, 651 new cases), followed by Russia which has reported 2, 071, 858 confirmations,  35, 838 deaths and  1, 582, 768 recoveries, leaving Russia with 453, 252 active cases of Coronavirus(24, 295 new cases) and Spain, which has confirmed 1, 556, 730 Coronavirus cases,  42, 619 patients have already kicked the bucket, while only 150, 376 patients have recovered since June and remains the case till today, leaving Spain with 1, 363, 735 patients still very sick with the virus, looking up to government for the best of care to get back on their feet,

    The United Kingdom which has suffered the highest casualty in Europe has come up as the 7th country worst hit,  reporting  1, 515, 802  all time infections, 55, 120 patients have been killed by  Coronavirus, while only 3, 322 patients have been fortunate the survive the pandemic, leaving the UK with 1, 457, 360 active cases of Coronavirus(18, 673 new cases), followed by  Italy with 1, 408, 868 confirmed cases, 49, 823 deaths and 553,098 recoveries, leaving Italy with 805, 947 active cases of Coronavirus(28, 337 new cases), followed by Argentina which has documented  1, 366, 182 all time cases,  36, 902 patients are no more, while  1, 187, 053 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Argentina with 142, 227 active cases of Coronavirus(7, 140 new cases).

    Colombia has come up as the 10th country most hit by the virus reporting 1, 240, 498  all time cases, 35, 104 deaths and  1, 144, 923   recoveries, leaving Colombia with 60, 471 active cases of Coronavirus(7,054 new cases) followed by South Africa now  the 16th country worst hit, reporting  767, 679 cases since the outset of the pandemic, 20, 903 deaths, while 710, 099 patients have recovered, leaving South Africa with 36, 677 active cases of Coronavirus(2, 270 new cases).
