LAGOS, Nigeria – Spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Alhaji Buba Galadima has been kidnapped by masked security men. Director of Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council (PPCC), Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan made the revelation in a press statement.
He said his whreabout is currently unknown.
“Nigerians and the world over should know this— Alhaji Buba Galadima has just been kidnapped by masked security operatives, his whereabouts is unknown. Buhari/APC are hell bent on destroying our hard earned democracy. We will never be cowed, the will of the people MUST prevail”, he said.
Before he vanished, Buba Galadima tweeted, “Note that our situation room is being circled by men suspected to be members of of state security service. It is suspected that they want to raid the place and cut away our communication gargets and arrest our operatives. May God save Nigeria”, he said.
Reacting to the development, Senator Shehu Sani said the reported arrest of Engr Buba Galadima is (link: http://needless.It) needless.It will only cast the Government and the nation in bad lights,especially at times like this, he said, adding “we appreciate every vote we honestly earned and not under anyone’s shadow or inducements in Kaduna Central; We remain unwavering in the defense of the ideals we stand for.We proudly stood tall with our heights and not with the glory of a borrowed high heels”, he said.
Buba Galadima is an engineer by training, a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University. and hails from Gashua, Yobe State. He participated in the 1994/5 Constitutional Conference. He was a Director General of the Nigeria Maritime Authority.
