Warns of consequence of stolen mandate

    Admin l Monday, Feb. 25, 2019

LAGOS, Nigeria – Director of Communication and Spokesman, Turaki Vanguard, Mr. Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr. has called on the All Progressive Congress(APC) and the Buhari Presidency to concede defeat, warning of the consequence of stealing mandate of the Nigerian people.

He advised that President Buhari must place the nation above selfish ambition, and congratulate the President elect Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON”, adding “May God give him the grace to follow the path of honour”, he said. INEC is yet to declare winner of the election.

In a statement, he said the Turaki Vanguard will not take responsibility for the collateral damage that may follow should the final results not tally with the figures from the Monitoring Agencies/Organisations, including International and Local Observers, and those of the Conference of United Political Parties.

“We hereby state without equivocation that the APC/Buhari Presidency should desist from putting our democracy in jeopardy, and concede defeat in order to deescalate the tension that their recalcitrance, and the pressure on INEC to doctor the figures is building.

“We will not accept liability for any reaction that a stolen mandate may e. And we shall not take responsibility for the collateral damage that may follow should the final results not tally with the figures from the Monitoring Agencies/Organisations, including International and Local Observers, and those of the Conference of United Political Parties.licit. And we shall not take responsibility for the collateral damage that may follow should the final results not tally with the figures from the Monitoring Agencies/Organisations, including International and Local Observers, and those of the Conference of United Political Parties.

“Finally, we are calling on well meaning Nigerians and citizens of the world to prevail on President Buhari to do the needful like they did to Jonathan in 2014/2015 inorder to preserve our democracy and protect lives and property. President Buhari must place the nation above selfish ambition, and congratulate the President elect Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON. May God give him the grace to follow the path of honour”, he said.

    Ugochinyere, CUPP Spokesperson escapes assassination

    From CUPP 2nd National spokesperson

NIGERIANS HAVE SPOKEN… AND THE SHENANIGANS OF THE APC CANNOT CHANGE THE OBVIOUS. INEC, THE WORLD IS WATCHING.

We have observed the desperation of the APC/Buhari Presidency to subvert the will of the people expressed through the ballot on the 23rd of February, 2019.

First, it was unleashing violence on the electorate in PDP dominated areas, ditto the ugly spectacle in Ago, Aguda and Ojota in Lagos, and violence and bloodletting in Rivers and Bayelsa States amongst others, with over 16 Nigerians killed on election day, telling the desperation of the APC to win an election that they very well know have been lost.

Secondly, since the close of the most violent and crises ridden election since 1999 no thanks to the APC/Buhari Presidency that has put NIGERIA on the reverse gear, the APC cyber bullies have been posting fake results with the intention to deceive the masses and compel INEC to compromise on the little integrity of the elections. Having failed to achieve the wicked and soulless motive of hoodwinking the electorate with false figures, and intimidating the PDP and the Nigerian masses with Security operatives, the APC has turned the heat once again on INEC to oblige their rigging machinations. But this also will fail.

INEC should know that the PDP, and the various Local and International Observers have the correct figures already, we have been following the polls from the Polling Units to the Collation Centres, and the world knows the winner of the 2019 Presidential elections. INEC must therefore do the needful without fear or favour.

We must state clearly here, that in furtherance of the desperate motive of the APC/Buhari Presidency to subvert the will of the people, the APC Presidential Campaign Council through Festus Keyamo SAN has made two Press Release within 24hours, one asking the APC faithfuls to keep hope alive in the face of drowning defeat. And the second, calling for the arrest of PDP faithfuls particularly Buba Galadima. Their intention is to harass, harangue and over awe the nation, and to intimidate the PDP and compel INEC to rig the election by sexing up the figures and doctoring the results to favour the defeated APC, but this also, will not stand.

We hereby state without equivocation that the APC/Buhari Presidency should desist from putting our democracy in jeopardy, and concede defeat in order to deescalate the tension that their recalcitrance, and the pressure on INEC to doctor the figures is building.

We will not accept liability for any reaction that a stolen mandate may elicit. And we shall not take responsibility for the collateral damage that may follow should the final results not tally with the figures from the Monitoring Agencies/Organisations, including International and Local Observers, and those of the Conference of United Political Parties.

Finally, we are calling on well meaning Nigerians and citizens of the world to prevail on President Buhari to do the needful like they did to Jonathan in 2014/2015 inorder to preserve our democracy and protect lives and property. President Buhari must place the nation above selfish ambition, and congratulate the President elect Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON. May God give him the grace to follow the path of honour.

    God Bless NIGERIA.
