LAGOS – For years, he was the face of composure, the man with all the answers under the studio lights. But today, the polished veneer of TV legend Frank Edoho has been shattered by a series of explosive allegations from his wife, Sandra. In a raw and unfiltered testimony that has sent shockwaves through social media,
Sandra has laid bare a marriage defined not by luxury and love, but by what she describes as “surviving” a decade of systematic abuse, infidelity, and financial exploitation.
The dam broke following the leak of a private video involving Sandra and singer Chike. Rather than retreating, Sandra chose to step into the light, detailing a domestic life that sounds more like a psychological thriller than a celebrity romance.
The allegations begin at the very start of their journey. Sandra claims that while she was pregnant with their first child, Frank was allegedly engaged in high-profile affairs, specifically naming actress Mbong Amata among others.
”I would cry on the floor for days, begging him to just see me,” Sandra revealed in a heartbreaking post. “He would simply walk out and not return home for days.”
Perhaps most chilling is the claim regarding their second pregnancy. Sandra alleges that Frank pressured her to undergo an abortion, stating he “wasn’t ready” to be a father, despite allegedly maintaining a string of outside relationships at the time.
While the public saw a man of means, Sandra paints a drastically different financial picture. She describes herself as the silent engine behind his “lavish lifestyle,” claiming she funded everything from business-class tickets and international trips to the basic utility bills of their home.
The betrayal, she says, went even deeper. Sandra alleges that Frank not only had access to her funds but used them to finance his trysts with other women in hotels. Most devastatingly, she accuses him of selling her personal property without permission to fund his extracurricular life.
The list of names mentioned in her testimony reads like a “who’s who” of the social scene, including allegations of disappearances with the likes of Adaeze Ugboaja and former Big Brother Naija housemate Tega Dominic.
The emotional toll, Sandra says, nearly cost her her life. She recalls a specific instance of walking in on Frank during a marathon phone call with another woman—an encounter so stressful she “almost passed out from anger.”
Despite the alleged physical, mental, and psychological abuse, Sandra admits she stayed for years, shielding his reputation and even taking his mother to the United States, where she lived with Sandra’s parents for several years.
”I was a great and faithful wife,” she stated. “But I finally chose myself. I walked away and I filed for divorce.”
Sandra’s message to her estranged husband is clear: she is done being a victim. Addressing the leaked video and the subsequent fallout, she asserted her right as an adult woman to date or befriend whomever she chooses.
”There is evidence for everything,” she warned, advising Frank to finally “move on.”
As of press time, Frank Edoho has not issued a formal rebuttal to these specific claims. However, the court of public opinion is already in session, and for many fans, the “Ultimate Question” is no longer on a TV screen—it’s about the man they thought they knew.
Frank Edoho rose to continental fame as the host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Nigeria, a role he held for over 13 years.
Known for his sharp wit and booming voice, he became a symbol of Nigerian broadcasting excellence.
However, this is not the first time Edoho’s private life has made headlines. His previous marriage to Katherine Obiang ended amidst allegations of domestic conflict, which Frank has previously denied.
Sandra Edoho, a successful entrepreneur in her own right, had long been seen as the stabilizing force in his life following his first divorce. Her decision to go public marks a significant shift in the narrative, moving from private domestic struggles to a very public demand for accountability.
