August 3, 2014 – The One Year Remembrance Prayer for Alhaji Ibrabim Ademola Bayo Fashola, father of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, will take place on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in Surulere, a statement from the family has said.
Signed on behalf of the Fashola Family by the eldest child of the deceased, Mrs. Arinola Fuwa, the release said the Prayers will be held at the Surulere Secondary School, Ladipo Labinjo Crescent (Off Bode Thomas Street), Surulere, from 12.00 noon.
The late Ademola Fashola, a journalist in his lifetime, died on August 5, last year at the age of 80 years and was buried according to Islamic rites, the following day.
Announcing that the colour code for the event is Green, the release further advised that all guests should kindly be seated at the venue by 11.30 a.m.
