ABUJA, Nigeria – Organised labour, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and Trade Union Congress, TUC has served notice to embark on strike with effect from midnight Tuesday December 18, 2023 to press home implementation of demands for workers following removal of fuel subsidy.
In a statement signed by Comrade Emmanuel Ugboaja, General Secretary, NLC and Comrade Nuhu Toro, Secretary General TUC, the organised labour said all state councils and affiliates are directed to issue circulars for maximum compliance.
It pledged to update members as development unfolds.
