Paris, Oct 3, 2016 – Police in France have said that Kim Kardashian West has been robbed at gun point at a luxury hotel in Paris. According to the police, she was robbed by at least two men who disguised as policemen.
A police spokesman said what was stolen was a box of jewelries worth up about €6 million (£5.2m; $6.7m). The waiter reportedly lead the gunmen to the residence of Kim Kardashian West who was tied up in the bathroom before robbing her of her properties.
“She was badly shaken but physically unharmed”, her spokesman Ina Treciokas has said adding that the robbery was carried out by two masked men with guns.
She was said to have left Paris aboard a private jet. Kardashian West’s husband, Kanye West, was on stage at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York at the time of the robbery took place and abruptly ended his set, telling fans: “I’m sorry, family emergency. I have to stop the show.”
