A PREDATORY faith leader who used his “spiritual powers” to trick and sexually abuse young girls and women has been unmasked as a serial rapist.

Evil Abdul Halim Khan, 54, was found guilty of a staggering 21 offences—including nine counts of rape—following a massive investigation by the Met Police.

For 11 years, the “respected” community figure hid behind his religious status to carry out a “campaign of depravity” against seven brave survivors.

Snaresbrook Crown Court heard how Khan, of Old Forde Road, London, targeted victims between 2004 and 2015.

The monster manipulated his victims by pretending to have supernatural abilities, using his position of trust to coerce girls as young as 12 into his clutches.

To keep his victims quiet, he threatened to bring harm upon their families.

One survivor, who was abused as a child, told the court:
”What happened to me did not end when the abuse stopped.

It affected my sense of safety, my ability to trust others, and the way I understood relationships.”

Web of Lies
The law finally caught up with Khan in 2018, when his youngest victim found the courage to tell a teacher at her school.

Detectives spent years building a bulletproof case, interviewing over 50 witnesses and scouring ten mobile phones.

Even when faced with the evidence, arrogant Khan claimed it was a “conspiracy” and that his victims had made it all up for “revenge.”

The jury saw through his lies, convicting him on Friday of:
9 counts of rape
5 counts of rape of a child under 13
2 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13
4 counts of sexual assault
1 count of assault by penetration
’Remarkable Strength’
Detective Sergeant Sara Yems, who led the probe, praised the “extraordinary courage” of the seven women who brought Khan down.

”He was believed to be a trusted figure,” she said. “We remain absolutely committed to removing dangerous offenders like Khan from London’s streets.”

Khan has been remanded in custody and will face the music at sentencing on May 14.
