IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – The Economics and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) today arraigned Khareem Oluwasiyi a.k.a jeff session before a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja for allegedly having in his possession a fraudulent document. The accused pleaded not guilty to the five count charge brought against him.
EFCC prosecutor, A.M Ocholi told the court that the accused committed the offence on June 29 2018, at Lagos within the Ikeja judicial division, contrary to section 68(b) and 1(3) of the Advance fee fraud and other fraud Related offence Act No.14 of 2006.
Oluwasiyi was further alleged to have had in his possession e-mail correspondence titled “grant money” which he sent from his email address [email protected] to [email protected] which email he knew contained false pretence.
He was also had in his possession email correspondence titled “grant ” which he sent from his email [email protected] [email protected] which he knew contains false pretence.The accused however, had sent email titled “no subject ” which he sent [email protected] knowing same to be false.
Oluwasiyi also had in his possession a document titled “National Endowment for Humanities which he know contains false pretence. Justice Oyindamola Ogala thereafter adjourned the matter till September 10 for bail application.
