ISRAELI forces have decapitated the Iranian regime yet again after a precision “targeted strike” killed Ali Larijani, the man many saw as the ideological backbone of the Islamic Republic.
Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the successful operation this morning, declaring that the IDF had struck the “head of the snake” in a move that has sent shockwaves through the Middle East.
The Midnight Strike
The mission, carried out by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) following a high-level recommendation from IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, targeted Larijani—the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council—at a location in Iran.
Larijani was widely considered the central “ideological and operational arm” of Tehran’s terror network. His death comes just weeks after the February 28 strike that killed the 86-year-old Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, leaving the regime in a state of total collapse.
”When you act with strength, vision, and courage—you bring achievements that no one thought possible,” Katz said in a victory statement. “Whoever acts against us will pay the price.”
Trump’s Warning
The strike follows a major address by U.S. President Donald Trump, who spoke last night about the intensifying campaign to dismantle Iran’s command structure. Trump has previously shrugged off threats from Larijani, telling reporters earlier this month he “couldn’t care less” about the Iranian official’s warnings.
Reports from the ground suggest the overnight wave of strikes also eliminated Gholamreza Soleimani, the head of the brutal Basij militia, further stripping away the regime’s ability to control its own streets.
Ali Larijani was no ordinary bureaucrat. A former Speaker of Parliament and a long-time confidant of the late Ayatollah Khamenei, he was the bridge between Iran’s military might and its hardline clerical rule.
The Architect: He was a key figure in coordinating Iran’s “Axis of Resistance,” including Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza.
The Survivor: After Khamenei’s death in February, Larijani emerged as an interim power broker, attempting to hold the fractured government together.
The Target: Israeli intelligence had long identified him as the primary driver of regional instability and the central figure behind years of terror plots against the Jewish state.
