    In 1 day Coronavirus kills 3780 patients in India as Nigeria lists 52 new cases

    LAGOS, Nigeria –  The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed  52 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases in the country to 165,273.

    But out of the 165,273 confirmed cases, 155,403 patients have been treated and discharged, while  2,065  others could not survive, leaving Nigeria with 7805  active cases, while 2 patients died in the last 24 hours.  Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Taraba-18, FCT-9, Rivers-9, Lagos-7, Akwa Ibom-6, Kano-2 and Kaduna-1, making a total of 52 new cases of Coronavirus.

    “NCDC@NCDC gov 52 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Taraba-18, FCT-9, Rivers-9, Lagos-7, Akwa Ibom-6, Kano-2 and Kaduna-1 ; 165,273 confirmed 155,403 discharged 2,065 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

    There are now 154, 624, 876  confirmed cases of Coronavirus globally,  3, 232, 878 patients have passed on while 91, 176, 544  others have been treated and discharged. There are now 60, 215, 454 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide based on the latest updates from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted  country, now reporting 32,548, 953 all time cases while 579, 195  lives have been lost(41, 840 new and  876 deaths*),  followed by India, which has reported  20, 665, 148 confirmations, 226, 188 deaths  while 16, 951, 731 others  have recovered and therefore discharged, leaving India with 3, 487, 229  active cases of Coronavirus(382, 315 new and 3780 deaths*) and Brazil which has registered  14, 856,  888 all time cases, 411, 588  patients are already dead, while 13, 212, 050 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Brazil with   1, 233, 250  active cases of Coronavirus(77, 359 new and 2966 deaths*).

    France has come as the 4th country most afflicted, reporting  5, 767, 537   all time cases, 105, 792 patients have passed on while 366,778 others are now hale and hearty, leaving France with 5, 294, 967 active cases of Coronavirus(26,006 new and 244 deaths*) and Turkey with 4, 955, 594 all time cases, 41, 883  patients are already dead, while 4, 589,  501 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Turkey with  324, 210  active cases of Coronavirus(26, 476 new and 356 deaths*) and Russia, which has documented 4, 792,  354  all time cases, 110, 022  lives have been lost , while 4,413,678  others are now hale and hearty, leaving Russia with 268, 654  active cases of Coronavirus(7857 new and 352 deaths*) .

    The United Kingdom has come up as the 7th country most afflicted, reporting  4, 441, 638  all time infections, 127, 830  patients have been killed by the pandemic, while 14, 853  others have survived, leaving  the UK  with 4, 298, 955 active cases of Coronavirus(2153 new and 27 deaths*) and  Italy with 4, 070, 400   confirmations, 122, 005 lives have passed on while 3, 541, 266  others  have been given clean bill of health, leaving Italy with 407, 129 active cases of Coronavirus(10,579 new and 267 deaths*)  and Spain with 3, 551, 262  all time cases,  78, 566 patients have been killed by the pandemic, while 150, 376 others  have been treated and discharged, leaving Spain with 3, 322, 320 active cases(167 deaths*).

    Germany has come up as the 10th country most hit, now reporting  3, 471, 616  all time cases,  83, 981 lives are no more, while  3, 098, 820 patients have been treated and discharged, leaving Germany with 288, 815  active cases of the pandemic(20, 953 new and 270 deaths*) and South Africa which has reported  1, 586,  148  confirmed cases,  54, 557 patients have been killed while 1, 510, 385 others have survived and subsequently discharged, leaving South Africa with 21, 206 active cases of Coronavirus(46 deaths*).
