LAGOS, Nigeria – A DESPERATE young mum has made a tearful appeal to one of Africa’s richest playboys, Cubana Chief Priest, begging him to take a DNA test to prove he fathered her toddler son.
Heartbroken Hellen Ati claims her world was turned upside down following a brief, passionate encounter in Lagos in 2022 with multi-millionaire Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu — known to millions of fans as ‘Cubana Chief Priest’.
But while the nightlife mogul flaunts his luxury lifestyle of private jets, designer gear, and champagne-fueled parties online, Hellen says she has been left completely in the dark, struggling through an emotional and financial nightmare to raise the little boy completely alone.
Speaking out about her daily torment, a devastated Hellen revealed the crushing toll the unresolved paternity battle is taking on her life.
”I am carrying this heavy burden all by myself,” she said, appealing for support as she struggles to make ends meet. “It’s not just about the money; it’s about my son knowing who his father is. I just want the truth.”
Hellen has repeatedly demanded a simple DNA test to clear up the matter once and for all.
However, the high-flying showman — famed for his sprawling nightclub empire and extravagant display of wealth — has strictly blocked her pleas.
Okechukwu fiercely denies the allegations, branding them a total fabrication. He claims he has never even set eyes on Hellen and argues that the explosive accusations are a calculated smear campaign designed to sabotage his business empire and wreck his family life.
As the high-stakes legal stalemate drags on, public sympathy has heavily shifted toward the innocent child caught in the middle of the bitter cross-continental feud.
For Hellen, the daily grind continues, but she refuses to back down. Until a DNA test is ordered, this desperate mum says she will keep fighting for the future of her little boy.
Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu (born 1981) is a massively popular Nigerian luxury businessman, show promoter, and socialite. He built his reputation as the General Manager of the Cubana Group before launching his own ultra-luxury clubbing brand, De Angels Bar and Grills. Boasting millions of Instagram followers, he is famous for his “celebrity barman” persona, ultra-wealthy inner circle, and lavish public spending.
The scandal erupted publicly when Kenyan national Hellen Ati alleged that a brief relationship during a trip to Lagos in 2022 resulted in pregnancy.
While Ati frames the battle as a quest for child welfare and parental recognition, Okechukwu’s legal team positions the claims as blackmail aimed at exploiting his massive net worth and celebrity status.
