ASOKORO, Abuja, Nigeria – The Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has abandoned the welfare of the people of his state since he emerged as Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

With all the federal roads leading to communities in Delta State rendered virtually unpassable, with liaison offices in terrible shape, he is spending resources meant for the development of Delta State on new buses for the Presidential campaign of the PDP.
He has purchased several new buses used in profitable commercial enterprises in preparation for the campaign of the PDP.
Ironically, he is spending all the money on the campaign which his party may never win at the expense of the state and the people he is meant to serve.
Fearing public uproar, the governor decided to hide the buses at the dilapidated Delta Liaison office in Asokoro, Abuja, hoping to keep them away from the people of Delta State.
